10 Cottages - Widmouth Farm Cottages are an ideal base for exploring Exmoor and the North Devon Coastline on foot or by car. The coastal footpath runs around the edge of the owners' 35 acre property forming part of the 180 mile Tarka Trail. The cottages have been tastefully converted from a round barn, stone barns and workers cottages c.1800.
Attractions within 15 minutes drive include Watermouth Castle (a family theme park) Exmoor Zoo, Exmoor Steam Railway and the Wildlife and Dinosaur park.
For the younger guests there are chickens, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs, sheep and a tame goat on the farm.
The magnificent scenery and abundance of natural wildlife makes this an ideal location for bird watching, painting and sea fishing. There are also fabulous golf courses easily accessible.
